Can I change the date range after I start?
Yes. Edit any start or end date in the task rows. The chart recalculates instantly and rescales to fit all your tasks.
What if my dissertation doesn't follow the standard stages?
Click "Add Row" to create custom stages that match your program. You can rename any row and adjust its dates to fit your actual timeline.
How do I use the Copy and Download buttons?
"Copy Text" puts a plain-text summary of your tasks and dates on your clipboard for pasting into email or a document. "Download SVG" saves the chart as a high-quality vector graphic you can insert into your thesis document.
Does this tool save my data?
No. Your chart lives only in this browser tab. To preserve it, print the chart, download the SVG, or take a screenshot. If you close the tab, you will need to re-enter your tasks.
