This counter counts all calendar days, including weekends and holidays. The class days estimate multiplies weeks remaining by your entered class days per week—it does not account for actual breaks or holidays.
How to use
Enter the calendar dates when your semester begins and ends. The counter shows you the total number of calendar days remaining, the percentage of the semester that has elapsed, and optional estimates of remaining study weeks and class sessions. Your dates are saved in this browser only.

How many days are left in my semester?
Enter your semester start and end dates in the fields above. The counter displays the number of whole calendar days remaining until 11:59 PM on your semester end date. This count includes all days—weekends, holidays, and breaks—as they appear on the calendar.
How do I calculate the percentage of my semester that is complete?
The arc in the console shows your semester progress visually. The percentage is calculated by dividing the number of days elapsed (from start to today) by the total number of days in your semester (from start to end), then multiplying by 100. The console shows this as a percentage in its subtitle.
Does this counter include weekends?
Yes. The main counter shows all calendar days, including weekends. If you want to estimate your remaining class days, enter your average class days per week (for example, 5 if you have class Monday through Friday) in the optional input. The tool will then estimate total remaining class sessions by multiplying weeks left by days per week. This estimate ignores actual holidays and scheduled breaks.
What if my semester end date has passed?
If today's date is after your semester end date, the counter shows 0 days remaining and the arc turns gray. If today falls within your semester (start date ≤ today ≤ end date), the arc appears in the active lime color.
Are my dates saved?
Yes. Once you enter your dates, they are saved in your browser's local storage. If you return to this page, your dates will still be there. Your data lives only in this browser and will be lost if you clear your site data. There is no account or cloud sync.
Can I use this on my phone?
Yes. The counter works on any device with a modern web browser. The date input opens your device's native date picker, which is often easier to use on mobile than typing dates manually.
